- Rack of equipment tucked into the bar end
- Custom cabinets were designed and built as well as a commissioned Kandinsky homage painting
The finished product with edge lit walnut columns
An empty unfinished attic above a garage and a lot of logistics went into this project. This one has a unique step up one side, step down the other riser and a very cozy seating layout for up to sixteen people. We corrected the lack of symmetry and created a space to hide the large amplifiers and access wiring from front to back. We then designed a false wall to house the front speaker array and a pair of subwoofers. The client was able to build the cabinets himself to spec that would house the rack of source components hidden in the end of the bar.
A bevy of components, including Lexicon, Bryston, Revel, Sony, Kaleidescape, Audioquest, Crestron, and Lutron, rounded out by DMF Lighting would elevate the overall performance of the room. Acoustic Innovations provided the seating for the front row and the walls were all finished with Rockwool and QuietRock. The end result is an astounding media experience. For both music and movies, this room is exceptional. It doesn't look half bad either...

Custom cabinet with black interior and African zebrawood finish
The client had a gorgeous stone fireplace, but wanted to add a large television. No problem, we custom fabricated a steel, powdercoated mount for an 85 inch 8K set and a custom built soundbar. The cabinet was too small for the new equipment, so we matched the other cabinets in the room with a custom zebrawood veneer to hide a pull-out rack. The result is stunning and no stones were harmed.
